Construction Labourer

We are looking for competent experienced Labourers. The successful candidates will be determined by their experience and attitude toward working in difficult environments. CAP works across western Canada, and there is potential for successful applicants to work with our construction team on an on-going basis.

To provide some idea of the tasks you may be performing, a list of responsibilities may include:

  • Ensure the safety of all company personnel and the environment;
  • Complete Field Level Risk Assessments before beginning each task;
  • Perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and exertion of whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, and handling of materials;
  • Complete work as per project specifications;
  • Executing field projects according to instructions provided by the client, project manager and the field supervisor;
  • Work with minimal supervision and direction;
  • Must be willing to perform manual labour as needed;
  • Follow all safety and quality control procedures;
  • Participate in site safety meetings;
  • Perform other duties as required.


Qualifications for this project are a combination of skills and attitude:

  • Must be hard working and work well in team settings;
  • 1+ years relevant experience;
  • Physically fit and able to work in a rigorous environment;
  • Neat and diligent in maintaining equipment;
  • Good judgement and problem solving capacity;
  • CSTS training.

This position is based in Drumheller, Alberta
